An Author is a creator of worlds.
An artist of words.
In a larger context, an all creating God.
When a true author chooses his pencil, and lowers it to the paper and starts that first word, a seed is planted and nestled into the new earth that has started to grow.
As he writes, the scraping and scratching is a symphony or life beginning, growing people, places, cities, countries and creatures unknown to the people of our world.
The song of huge oak trees sprouting from the ground and climbing the sky in mere seconds, making enchanted forests, host to creatures that only myth can describe. Unicorns, centaurs and dragons haunt in the dark trees and spend their time guarding magical pools of eternal youth with the help of wood nymphs and spirits of the long gone.
He births characters like knights in shining armour, cunning dark witches and beautiful princesses trapped in tall stone towers.

These are the worlds that Authors create.
Places of magical wonder and exciting mysteries for an unsuspecting reader.
Giving them places for them to escape to.
Places were life seems so much better or worse then their own, and help them hide from the villains they face every day.
To help them with the hard times and be there for the good.
To be the friend that can be held in their pocket.
The One they turn to, when all seems lost.

He creates hope,
He creates home.
He tells of an attainable true love.
And he tells the stories of people just like you…
